Science is an exciting journey of discovery that helps students understand the world around them—from living organisms and chemical reactions to forces, energy, and the vast universe. By tapping into their natural curiosity, students explore scientific ideas through hands-on investigations and engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences.
At THPS, the Science curriculum immerses students in the core disciplines of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Earth and Space Sciences, building knowledge, curiosity, and critical thinking skills.
Biology
Students explore the diversity of living things, investigating how organisms grow, change through their life cycles, and interact with each other and their environments.
Physics
Students investigate the fundamental principles of forces, motion, and energy. They learn how these concepts influence everyday phenomena as well as the behaviour of matter throughout the universe.

Earth and Space Sciences
Students develop an understanding of how our planet works and its place in the wider universe. Learning focuses on the interconnected systems of Earth and highlights the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Chemistry
Students explore the composition, properties, and behaviour of substances. They learn how the structure of matter at an atomic level determines its physical and chemical properties and how materials change during chemical reactions
